“See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me.”
Watch the world of Moana brought to life by young, local performers in this musical adaptation of the hit Disney film.
Thrilling and heart-warming, this coming of age story follows strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the pacific to save her village and discover the truth about her heritage – including an adventure with legendary demigod Maui!
Fun for the whole family, Disney’s Moana JR. features all your favourite songs from the movie, including How Far I’ll Go, Shiny and You’re Welcome.
"This stage adaptation for young people is an even more satisfying musical than the movie it's based on."

Relaxed Performance
Relaxed performances are special shows for those with sensory needs. Lighting and sound are adjusted, capacity is reduced to allow for freer movement and there is a “chill-out” area in the foyer.
There will be a relaxed performance of Disney's Moana J.R. on Saturday 17 July at 11am. Click here for further information about this relaxed performance.

Press Reviews
"Visually striking and musically satisfying, Moana JR. is certainly worth the effort to see."
"On the whole the cast, many of whom are new to stage performance, do an admirable job of bringing the show to life. There’s a real sense of joy and energy, not to mention pride, especially in large ensemble numbers like Tulua Tagaloa and We Know the Way."
Erin Harrington
"There were moments of magic throughout the show: most significantly the spectacular waves and the ocean - which became characters in their own right. The performers working the motions were so clever in their actions. "
