Albany is a graduate of the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts (Bachelor of Performing Arts).
His previous Court Theatre credits include Matatihi: Maia’s Journey of Bravery; The Ugly Duckling; Puff the Magic Dragon, Easy Money and Fresh off the Boat.
His other theatre credits include working with Victor Rodger on Christ(Church) Almighty! and collaborations with FIKA writers and CoCA. He was also part of the ARE Pasifika festival in 2017.
Albany is part of the collective Y|NOT who have produced La’u Gagana; The Fahu; Palu and were part of the Measina Festival and the Kia Mau Festival in Wellington.
He has now co-founded and runs a new entity called Tama Mai Saute Dance Academy here in Ōtautahi. Teaching Pasifika dance in schools and dance classes in the Pasifika community.
