The Court Theatre is proud to produce Theatre for Aotearoa. We want all members of our communities, whether local, national or international, to be able to engage with and benefit from the arts. To ensure our work is able to be enjoyed by all we offer a number of opportunities to make attending the theatre more affordable.

Early Bird Bookings

Early bird tickets are available Monday - Thursday (excluding Pay What You Can nights) for one week for four- and five-week show seasons, and two weeks for summer musical seasons, as well as on all matinees.

Group Bookings

We will apply a percentage discount across any Adult, Friends, 65+ and Child (for most shows) tickets that make up your group of 6+ tickets.

Early Bird Group

If you book a group within the early bird period you get the best of both worlds - an early bird group discount of 15% instead of the standard early bird discount only.

Fixed Incomes

Discounts are available for those 65 and over, with a Community Services Card or Hapai Access Card, and, from 2023 onwards, to Students. Student Discounts replaces ‘30 and Below’ tickets to better support students of any age. Tickets will be collected from Box Office and the purchaser needs to show a valid Student ID.

FRIENDS of the Court

Friends receive additional discounts on tickets - find out about joining here.

Pay What You Can

Pay What You Can makes it easier for those on lower incomes to come to The Court and enjoy a mainstage performance at a price that is realistic for their lifestyle. Audience members choose how much they would like to pay for their tickets, with options ranging from $15 (regular mainstage shows) or $20 (mainstage musicals) upwards. Tickets will be available online only from 7.30pm on the opening night of each mainstage production. Be sure to log onto the website early to avoid disappointment. There is a limit of four tickets per person.
