“What are we going to do with all the bodies?”
Everything today is just a problem to be solved by marketing teams and think-tanks.
The latest problem to be hashed out in the boardroom? Genocide.
With only a whiteboard and their own dubious morals as a compass, the team of executives working on this project must decide whether they are saving the world, being tested by their superiors... or designing the blueprints for another holocaust.
An icy, sophisticated thriller, Aaron Loeb’s Ideation is the Black Mirror of contemporary theatre. Paranoia, conspiracies, atrocities and corporate strategy collide with chilling effect. How far away are we from the world’s next genocide? Is it being planned as we speak, designed by unelected people in expensive suits?

Press Reviews
"Ideation is thought-provoking, conversation-starting, unsettling contemporary theatre that, for this reviewer, is the current highlight of the season at The Court Theatre."
Kate Divett
"Aaron Loeb's play Ideation is a sinister corporate tango choreographed to the discordant rhythms of ambition, office politics and moral issues which are not only blunted but enthusiastically shredded."
Christopher Moore
"On a cold damp night the Court is always welcoming - a warm whiff of wine and pizzas; a cozy atmosphere with comfortable chairs. I suggest you go along and see what you make of Ideation. "

"Thought provoking, brilliantly acted and constantly engaging. Really clever set design and seating. Had a wonderful night out at The Forge and would highly recommend to all!""We nearly did not get to this brilliant performance and I would recommend to anyone to go and see this very thought provoking play, especially in the light of todays political turmoil's. A very good stage design set out which gave the audience a wonderful perspective. I highly recommend this play, go and see it before it finishes.""A wonderful script of intrigue within our corporate, somewhat capitalist, world. Delivered with passion and at pace, this work requires you to actively focus on its nuance, and is definitely not 'casual entertainment'. Expect to be challenged and a little be disheartened from the writer's expose on back-room meetings.
But you won't be disappointed - and its a great conversation starter for those post-show drinks.""As an American ex-pat this show shook me to the core. Horrifically real and beautifully staged. Allow yourself to take in everything and take it away with you. Absolutely stunning. Highly, highly recommend seeing this production. ""We all loved this play..(It was by chance we got - a bit of a toss up between the rugby test and my choice of theatre) but my husband and friends all really loved this..Huge amount of energy, a great topic, and such brilliant acting by them all. Loved the use of mirrors and hugely impacting topic as to secrets and who are we serving, who wins, what is winning, mind games, deceit, hope..and heaps more..Thanks guys!!"Submit Review
