Jo and Tom Macbeth are professional actors who have a reputation as Shakespearean specialists. It is the opening night of a production of Macbeth, 30 minutes before curtain up. In the dressing room, something major has happened. Not great timing.
Enjoy a rollercoaster ride of comedy, drama, poignancy, and explosive conflict, as these two stage dynamos reveal the highs and lows of partnerships, on and off the stage. Mr & Mrs Macbeth of Heathcote Valley Road will appeal to all, including those who hated Shakespeare at school.
"a sublime masterclass in farce, physical comedy, gnawing vulnerability and on-point poignancy...a must-see treat.” - Theatreview

Press Reviews
"...it’s funny – really funny. The second half speeds along with both actors using the numerous opportunities Gregory Cooper’s script gives them to bounce off one another, and the audience loves it."
"...madness and mayhem at its best, with a lovely splash of classic drama and a sprinkling of very real romance."
"...a large portion of the audience have the time of their lives, having got what they paid for and then some. Thighs are slapped, eyes are wiped, punchlines are repeated."
"...this is a comedy with heart, flawlessly acted. And additionally, you get an abbreviated version of Macbeth – it’s well worth seeing."
