Susilia is a young student at the University of Canterbury studying a Bachelor of Arts. She is of Tuvaluan decent hailing from the islands of Nanumea and Nukufetau. She was born in Nauru and migrated to New Zealand with her family when she was a baby. She was raised in Oamaru and graduated from St Kevin’s College.
She made her theatrical debut at the 2019 Wellington Kia Mau Festival as the charming, tenacious Aunty Fala.
