Rebekah Head

Rebekah is an actor, singer, writer and puppeteer who grew up in Waitākere. She is a graduate of NASDA (BPA).

Her previous Court Theatre credits include Cops and Robbers, The Little Mermaid, The Ugly Duckling, Sense and Sensibility, Cinderella, The Lost Sock, and puppet construction for Disney’s Frozen Jr.

Other theatre credits include Beauty and the Beast - The Pantomime (GMG Productions), Wicked (Showbiz Christchurch, NPOS, IMT), Shrek the Musical (Showcase Entertainment), Toys, The Flight Before Christmas (Little Andromeda), Peter and the Wolf (SILO Theatre/Singapore International Festival of Arts), The Isolation Mixtape (Blackboard Theatre Collective), and the Australian tour of Disney’s Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Stage Adaptation (Rockefeller/TEG Life Like Touring).

Screen credits include Sweet Tooth (Pilot), Custard's World (HEIHEI/TVNZ+), Jono and Ben (MediaWorks), and What Now (Whitebait Media).

Rebekah has worked as a Props Co-ordinator and Floor Manager for Whitebait Media working on What Now and Brain Busters.

She is a co-founder of Tusk Puppets. She is currently working on puppet construction for She Kills Monsters which will be on at The Court Theatre in August.
