Mitchell Thomas

Mitchell is a graduate of Ara Music Arts (Bachelor of Music Arts, Jazz Performance - Drum Set). 

His previous Court Theatre credits include End of the Rainbow, Blood Brothers, Jersey Boys, Little Shop of Horrors and Flagons and Foxtrots. His other theatre credits include Wicked; We Will Rock You (Showbiz); Holiday Inn; On The Town (NASDA) and Catch Me If You Can (Blackboard Theatre) among others.

Mitchell is a freelance drummer, percussionist and teacher based in Christchurch. He is a confident and versatile performer with an abundance of experience playing in different styles of music including Jazz/Blues, Pop/Rock and Musical Theatre.

He is an in-demand musician who is currently a member of many local ensembles. He has gained a wealth of experience performing different styles of music in music festivals, iconic venues and events, as well as performing around New Zealand.
