A multi-faceted musical theatre performer, Andy is in high demand as a Music Director, Actor and Arranger in New Zealand and the UK. They are a graduate of NASDA and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Andy has performed, as an actor, in Amadeus (Court Theatre) and Billy Elliot (Auckland Theatre Company.)

As a composer, Andy’s musical The Magic Cookbook (written with Will Robertson) was workshopped at the Court Theatre Midwinter Readings, and Glo was workshopped at Auckland Theatre Company’s Here and Now Festival. They have composed music for numerous Tim Bray Productions and worked with Tusk Puppets to create their first full-length puppet show, The Lost Sock. They composed and were Sound Designer for Misery (Court Theatre).

As a Music Director, Andy was the Resident Music Director for That Bloody Woman; Music Director for Cinderella (GMG Productions); Isolation Mixtape Challenge; He Says, She Says and was a vocal coach for Ugly and Severely Queer (Blackboard Theatre Collective); Music Director for Legally Blonde and Pippin (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland); On The Town and Mr. Burns (NASDA). They were Music Director for Triage, A Nursing Cabaret with Zuleka Khan, which was awarded Best Cabaret at the Auckland Fringe Festival. They co-wrote and performed Puss with Naomi Cohen in the NZ International Comedy Festival and were the Music Director for Keep Out Of My Box with Torum Heng.
