The Forge at The Court brings to life 100s of Oz-ians and troops of flying monkeys on stage in the grounds of Riccarton House in another enthralling Summer Theatre production.

Cast
Maddie Harris: Dorothy
Maddie has been performing with Impact Dance and Stage School for 11 years, focusing on tap, jazz and musical theatre. She has been a member of The Court Youth Company since 2015.
Jesse Ranson: Toto & Flying Monkey
Jesse is a member of The Court Youth Company. This is his first show with The Forge. His theatre credits include Youth Reaction and Duets 2015. When he’s not acting, Jesse is a musician and studies Music Arts at CPIT.
Zak Enayat: Scarecrow
Zak is a graduate of NASDA. He has been on tour performing Jack Flash and the Jumping Beanstalk and The Importance of Being Earnest for all of 2015. He is also a proud member of Equity New Zealand.
Nick Cheesebrough: Tinman
Nick is a member of The Court Youth Company. He has just completed a year of training at Hagley Theatre Company. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz will be Nick’s first show with The Forge.
Andrew Ford: Cowardly Lion
Andrew is a graduate of UNITEC and his theatre credits include The Complete History of Cinema: Abridged; The Complete History of Christchurch: Abridged and last season’s Peter Pan. He has also performed in several Court Theatre productions.
Millie Hanford: Glinda, Winkie, Munchkin
Millie has been training in musical theatre, dance and drama at Impact Dance and Stage School for 10 years. This will be her second show with The Court Youth Company.
Kathleen Burns: Kansas neighbour, Wicked Witch of the West, Munchkin
Kathleen is a Christchurch based actress who has been an improviser with The Court Jesters since 2004. She is in demand all over the country and has recently been nominated for “Outstanding Performance of the Year” at the Wellington Theatre awards.
Jared Corbin: Uncle Henri, Wizard of Oz, Winkie, Munhckin, Flying Monkey
Jared likes SummerTimes and has co-written and performed in several of them over the last few years. He is a Court Jester and performs regularly in Scared Scriptless. He also enjoys AutumnTimes, WinterTimes and SpringTimes.
Becky Gallacher: Aunty Em, Winkie, Munchkin
Becky is a member of The Court Youth Company. Her recent performances include Youth Reaction and Duets 2015. Offstage, Becky can be found at home lost in a good book.
Vincent Andrew-Scammell: Munchkin, Guard of Gate, Winkie, Flying Monkey
Vincent has been a part of The Court Youth Company for two years. His theatre credits include the SummerTimes theatre production of Peter Pan in 2015. Although his objective is to become a superhero, a career as a performer is a close second.

Daniel Pengelly: Director
Daniel has a Masters in Theatre Arts (Directing and Messing About). His previous Court Theatre credits include ACHE; You Can Always Hand Them Back; Niu Sila; The Cat in the Hat and Peter Pan.
Oliver Morse: Set and Props Designer and Maker
Oliver has a Bachelor of Design from Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School and has consistently worked with Long Cloud Youth Theatre in Wellington since graduating. He returns to The Forge at the Court after designing last year’s SummerTimes production, Peter Pan.
Alison Roigard: Costume Designer and Maker
Alison has recently returned after working as the Wardrobe Manager for Singapore Dance Theatre. She graduated from Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School with a Diploma in Costume Construction and her previous work includes Summer Shakespeare and the World of Wearable Arts.
Te Aihe Butler: Sound Design & Operator
Te Aihe has a Diploma in Entertainment Technology from Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School. He has designed and composed for contemporary dance, film and theatre. He has recently completed a series of collaborations with the NZ School of Dance.
Alice Pardoe: Stage Manager
Since graduating from Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School in 2014, Alice has worked with The Court Theatre, Capital E Professional Children’s Theatre, New Zealand Opera and French Woods Festival of Performing Arts in New York.
