Yvonne Martin

Yvonne has worked at the Court Theatre as an actor/singer/director since 1979 and has worked on over 130 shows.  In 1988 she was created an Associate of the Court.

Her acting credits include Hedda Garbler; Long Day’s Journey Into Night (1988 & 2006); Uncle Vanya (1991); The School For Scandal; Twelfth Night; Mother Courage; The Way of the World; Three Sisters, The Beauty Queen of Leenane; Copenhagen; August: Osage County; When the Rain Stops Falling; Romeo and Juliet and most recently Winston’s Birthday. Her directorial credits include Shadowlands; Death and the Maiden; I Hate Hamlet; Trainspotting; Stones in His Pockets; Lady Windermere’s Fan; Honour; End of the Rainbow and Educating Rita.

Yvonne has appeared in plays and musicals throughout New Zealand, directed for Christchurch Repertory and NASDA, and has appeared on A Week of It and Shortland Street.  

Yvonne is a proud member of NZ Actors Equity.
