Tracey was founder and owner of Cottage Costume Hire in Weedons for 10 years. After selling the business, she took on the role of Costume Manager/Designer/Technician for Centrestage Rolleston's inaugural production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
Tracey joined the Court Theatre wardrobe team in 2019 and has worked as a costume technician on many shows including Hedwig and the Angry Inch; Elling; The Father; The Wind in the Willows; Dangerous Liaisons; The Time Machine; Lysanders Aunty; Jersey Boys; Little Shop of Horrors; Sense and Sensibility; and most recently, Something Rotten!.
She has spent the last few years as part of the Tina Thomas Costume team of technicians. Shows include Cinderella (GMG); Beauty and the Beast the Pantomime (GMG); Matilda (Showbiz); Pooh Bear Live; Kinky Boots (G&T); and Madagascar the Musical 2024.
Tracey was awarded first place in the Sow's Ear Section (2018) and first place in both the Hardware section (2019) and Sow's Ear section (2019) for Art Couture Canterbury Wearable Arts competition.
