Jesus Christ Superstar is Tem’s debut performance with The Court Theatre. His stand-out musical theatre credits include lead roles in Les Misérables playing Jean Valjean (SPC, Auckland) and Javert (New Plymouth Operatic Society). For his role as Jean Valjean he won the 2012 AMI Showdown Award for Best Lead Male in a Musical.

As a singer, he was a founding member of Klapa Samoana Vocal Ensemble, which has toured Europe, the Pacific Islands and performed at the 2011 Rugby World Cup, before leaving the group in 2014 to pursue sporting endeavours. He has recently returned home from the United Kingdom following a three-year stint playing cricket professionally in Sussex. He also featured in touring squads to Ireland, Scotland, the Netherlands and the Cook Islands.
