Shadon Meredith

Shadon Meredith is a graduate of the Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School (Bachelor of Performing Arts Acting).

This is Shadon’s first Court Theatre appearance. His other theatre credits include The Seagull: The New Online Version (Auckland Theatre Company); Upu (Silo Theatre/Auckland Arts Festival 2020); The Arrival (Red Leap Theatre); Paper Sky (Red Leap Theatre) and most recently performing his award-winning solo Waiting (Sos & Sha Creative) at the Auckland Fringe.

Shadon’s television credits include Find Me A Maori Bride, Spartacus and playing Matiu Thompson on Shortland Street.

Shadon Meredith is of Sāmoan descent. He is beautifully married to superstar actor Amelia Reid-Meredith and lives in Waiheke, Auckland with their cool 5-year-old son Arlo and enthusiastic Hungarian Vizsla Blue; dreaming up stories that empower BIPOC and reflect an Aotearoa experience.
