Sela Faletolu Fasi WEB

Sela began her journey at The Court Theatre in 2008 performing in readings of Angels and My Name is Gary Cooper before playing Stevie in the 2009 season of Angels. In 2013 she also performed in the first Pasifika musical, The Factory.

While working at Ara Institute of Canterbury, Sela co-founded No Limits, a performance group for Māori and Pasifika youth. The Court Theatre collaborated with No Limits in 2013 when they performed Speak Your Truth with 50 Māori and Pacific young people on the mainstage to a sold-out audience.

Sela is also a writer and the director of Tulou Productions. They debuted their first play, Matai, in The Forge as a development piece during the 2017 Christchurch Arts Festival. This year they performed Matai again on the mainstage as part of The Open House Festival.

Sela is married with six beautiful and wildly creative children aged 2 - 16.
