No Te Rāpaki o Te Rakiwhakaputa, ko Savanah-Kui Tukariri Ko Ngāi Tahu, Ngāti Mutunga me Ngāpuhi ngā iwi. Savanah is a third-generation kaihaka of Te Ahikaaroa Kapa Haka (est.1993) based in Ōtautahi, she is now a tutor and choreographer of the roopu.
Graduate of UCOL (Diploma in Performing Arts, 2006), alumni of EXCEL school of performing arts (2009) and 20+ years experience in Kapa Haka. She presented Māori Movement at the National Maori Theatre Hui (2018) and delivers Māori Movement programmes to schools in Christchurch.
Her performance credits include: Te Ahikaaroa at Classical Sparks (2018-2020), CSO Presents: He Ngākau Aroha (2020) and Tūmahana (2020).
