Having graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Film from Victoria University, Sarah moved to Australia to complete a Diploma in Theatre Costume Manufacturing at the Sydney Institute of Technology.
She then spent a decade working as Costume Maker and Coordinator for leading theatres such as Company B and Bell Shakespeare in Sydney, then the Malthouse Theatre and The Production Company in Melbourne.
Sarah’s major highlights included costuming the Tony Award-winning Exit the King with Geoffrey Rush, and working alongside renowned Australian Director Neil Armfield.
Upon returning to New Zealand, Sarah spent time with the World of Wearable Art in Nelson before coming to The Court Theatre to work on the 2012 production of Grease.
