Rose Kirkup is from Akatarawa, she currently resides in Te Whanganui a Tara. Rose graduated with a Bachelor of Performance Design from Toi Whakaari. She co-founded the company Everybody Cool Lives Here whose work crosses boundaries through radical inclusion and transformational experiences for both audience and creator. In 2018 Rose directed Big J Stylez written and performed by Jacob Dombroski, whose story of overcoming prejudice and smashing perception the face is Rose's proudest achievement to date.
