Rebecca has been part of the Court Theatre team for over twenty years. She started off in the role of Education Coordinator at the Arts Centre as has fond memories of the old theatre including walking up and down a lot of stairs, taking tour groups through the "secret tunnel" underneath the audience seating and popping out the back door to the Backstage Cafe for a pumpkin chocolate muffin. In her current roles in the Box Office and as Lead Host, Rebecca enjoys the buzz of the foyer in the build-up to an evening performance and later getting feedback from the patrons as they leave. Rebecca believes that as anyone knows who has sat through a particularly moving or entertaining play, nothing beats the thrill of live theatre. She is married to local writer and playwright Carl Nixon.
