Meg is a Wellington-based artist and performance designer.
Recent works include 2016 world premiere of The Devil’s Half-Acre at the New Zealand Festival, Soapboxes with Andrew Simpson for the Performance Arcade and PARKing Day, The Wine Project, a collaboration with Java Dance Company that has toured in various forms throughout New Zealand as well as to Edinburgh, Perth and Seoul, No Post On Sunday with Everybody Cool Lives Here at Circa Theatre and Don Juan by A Slightly Isolated Dog’s 2016 national tour.
In 2015 her work Rinse and Repeat was selected for the New Zealand National Exhibition at the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space and Auckland Art Gallery. She designed and co-directed with Uther Dean the multi award-nominated 2014 STAB commission WATCH, receiving the Weta Workshop Award for Set Designer of the Year at the Chapman Tripp Theatre Awards.
Meg regularly works with independent companies Java Dance, My Accomplice and A Slightly Isolated Dog, and has been nominated for several Chapman Tripp nominations as the result of these collaborations. She has presented works at The Performance Arcade 2011, 2013 – 2015.
She is a lecturer in spatial design at the College of Creative Arts, Toi Rauwharangi, Massey University.
