Maxwell was raised in Christchurch and moved to Auckland at the start of 2010 to pursue his career as an actor.
Since then he has been involved in various productions with Phoenix NZYP including a lead role in the mini feature film Fale of Troy written by Jay Williams, and was a core founding member of the Tongan Creatives working alongside industry professionals.
Maxwell has appeared in various New Zealand commercials and hopes to get more involved in Film and Television work.
Since moving back to Christchurch in 2016, Maxwell had mentored young people using skills from Performing Arts and then teamed up with other creatives in Christchurch who are known today as Y|NOT.
