Manuel is a graduate of Te Kura Toi Whakaari O Aotearoa: New Zealand Drama School (Bachelor of Performing Arts).
Lysander's Aunty is Manuel's debut at The Court Theatre. His other theatre credits include Freedom is Behind My Breath (Puti Lancaster Productions); Hikōi (Hāpai Productions); Peter Pan: the Pantomime (Circa Theatre); Tiki Taane Mahuta (Taki Rua/Aotearoa Aerial Theatre Company) and, most recently, The Swing (Te Rākau theatre trust)
His television credits include Ruggerbees and Undertow.
Manuel has a love for movement and dance, having performed in WOW as a dancer, and supplying choreography for the musical Spring Awakening; which earned him a nomination at the Wellington theatre awards in 2018.
