Layla joined The Court Theatre at the beginning of 2017, having recently completed her BA in Sociology and Theatre Studies. Throughout her time at university, Layla also enjoyed retail sales positions in women and menswear and continues to draw on her customer management skills in her current role at the theatre.
As the Sponsorship Manager, Layla works with our large portfolio of Business Partners, looking after their contracts, ticketing requirements, and event organisation. For Layla, landing this job was a match made in heaven, as she is able to apply her customer management skills in a relationship driven role, as well as live and breathe in the theatre environment.
Outside of her work in the theatre, Layla is a dedicated salsa and Latin dancer. She has competed and performed throughout Australasia as a soloist and with her team, and in 2017 she placed first at the World Salsa Solo competition in Brisbane!
