Juanita Hepi

Ka tiripou taku manu kāhu ki te keokeonga a Aoraki, kua tae mai te kāhu ki te whakaraupō moana.

Juanita is a graduate of Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School (Bachelor of Performing Arts, Acting).

Her previous Court Theatre credits include The Motor Camp; Hui; He Kura E Huna Ana and The Biggest. Her other theatre credits include Songs To The Judges (The Free Theatre); Party Time; The Caucasian Chalk Circle; The Prophet; Mo & Jess Kill Susie; Macbeth and Troilus and Cressida/Toroihi Rāua Kō Kāhira (Ngakau Toa).

Juanita’s television credits include The Prophet. Her film credits include The Pā Boys; White Lies and Shopping For One.

Juanita travelled to the United Kingdom with Troilus and Cressida/Toroihi Rāua Kō Kāhira (Ngakau Toa) to perform at The Globe in London as part of the Globe to Globe season. She was nominated for a Chapman Tripp Award for Supporting Actress of the Year.

Juanita also sits on the National Māori Theatre Hui Committee which is to be held in Ōtautahi/Christchurch this coming November.
