Jessie Lawrence

Jessie is an Auckland based actor and singer. After graduating from Unitec's Bachelor in Performing and Screen Arts (Majoring in Acting) at the end of 2013 she has been kept busy across a range of theatre, film and television. Jessie also attended Shanghai Theatre Academy's Summer School in China where she trained in Traditional Chinese Opera (Peking Opera).

A proud member of NZ Actors Equity, Jessie's recent theatre credits include: Jingles - The MusicalThe Faustus Project; Celia in Auckland Summer Shakespeare's As You Like It; Ariel in The Tempest and NZ's premiere performance of The Effect at Q Theatre in Auckland playing Connie Hall. Jessie has recently graced our television screens on Westside playing Cheryl West's outrageous sister, Jeanette. She also recently starred in TV1's Sunday Night Feature Why Does Love making flesh the much loved Dance Exponents song, Victoria. Other screen credits include: 800 Words; Dirty LaundryNothing Trivial and The Kick
