Jennifer is a graduate of Theatre Corporate.
She has worked extensively in theatre, film, television, musical and radio as an actor, director and teacher for over 40 years, and is an accredited Intimacy Coordinator (Intimacy on Set, UK) for stage and screen.
Jennifer’s television credits as IC include: One of Us is Lying; Head High; Ahikāroa; The Panthers and Creamerie. In film: Choose Love; Princess of Chaos and The Convert. In theatre: Grand Horizons (ATC); The Writer (Silo) and Macbeth (NZ Opera)
Jennifer is President of Equity New Zealand; a founding board member of the Watershed Theatre and a co-founder of The Actors' Program. In 2007 she received an ONZM and in 2019, a CNZM for services to theatre, film and television. In 2020 she was honoured as the Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year.
