Jayshri made her way onto the stage through her love of Bollywood and Kathak dancing, and now she is in her last year of studies for a Bachelor of Performing Arts through the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts (NASDA). Frankenstein is her debut performance at The Court Theatre. Her other theatre credits include The Book of Everything; On the Town; and I Love you, You’re Perfect, Now Change (NASDA).
Jayshri is also part of the Yugto Productions team, a production company created by NASDA students and graduates, aimed to highlight Asian stories and talent. She recently performed in their cabaret, Asian Kiwiana.
After Frankenstein, Jayshri will be making a solo devised piece as part of NASDA’s Ignite Festival in October.
