Jason has worked extensively in the performing arts industry as an actor, voice artist, casting associate, theatre producer, and studio floor manager.

Originally from Ashburton, Jason has spent most of his career in Auckland pursuing a variety of creative ventures. He is now thrilled to be back in Canterbury, calling Ōhinehou (Lyttelton) home.

The King’s Speech is Jason’s debut Court Theatre production. His other theatre highlights include Titus (Fractious Tash), Free Load (Theatre of Love), and Jacques Brel (Unitec).

Jason’s television credits include Westside (Seasons 2-5), Consent, and Field Punishment No.1. His film credits include Bellbird and Everything We Loved.

As a voice artist Jason has a diverse range of work including campaigns for Vodafone, Auckland University, Noel Leeming, ASB, and the Department of Conservation.

Jason has appeared in many well-known New Zealand commercials including those for Trade Me, Toyota, and GEM Finance; as well as multiple international campaigns for Zyrtec.

For over eight years, Jason worked as a casting associate for local and international feature films, television/streaming shows, and commercials. Casting department credits include Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Cowboy Bebop, Ash vs Evil Dead, and Hunt for the Wilderpeople.

As creative producer for Fractious Tash theatre company, Jason has mounted a variety of work across various Auckland venues including The Effect, Titus, Not Psycho, Earnest, and Ghastly Dash Grimm.

Jason is a graduate of Unitec (Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts).
