Jackson (Ngāti Porou) is a graduate of the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts (NASDA) where he gained a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Music Theatre).

Previous to this he spent a year at Hagley Theatre Company. This is Jackson’s second show with The Court Theatre, his previous credit being Te Kuia me te Pungawerewere. Some of his other theatre credits include Treasure Island (NZ Playhouse), Merry and Bright, Severely Queer: It’s a Pirates Life (Blackboard Theatre Collective), The Drowsy ChaperoneThe 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (NASDA), and We Will Still Go On (Asian Waves Productions).

He is a proud member of Equity New Zealand.
