Hester is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London (Bachelor of Arts, honours degree in Acting).
A Streetcar Named Desire is Hester's debut performance at The Court Theatre. Her other theatre credits include The Gaul (Hull Truck); Othello (Stafford Shakespeare Festival); Sweet Bird of Youth (Chichester Festival Theatre); The Mousetrap (UK Tour) and Macbeth (The Orange Tree Theatre).
Hester’s television credits include Heartbeat (Granada); Cracker (ITV); Doctors (BBC) and The Chase II (Rollem Productions). Her film credits include Yellow (Ryan Haysom); The Invisible Man (Jan Nord) and Delaney Davidson’s Ship of Dreams.
She also works as an independent artist, writing, making and performing her own work (The Ballad of Paragon Station; Paragon Dreams). Hester recently co-directed Our Town and Gladys and Alfie at the Lyttelton Arts Factory.
