Gil Eva Craig

Gil has worked as an audio creative for the past 30 years. As well as sound design for theatre, she has an extensive background in music mixing, production and live sound. She has also written original music for many theatre productions. Her most recent theatre project was sound design for Auckland Theatre Company's production of Long Day's Journey into Night.

Past live sound projects include monitor engineering for the NZSO presentation of the Star Wars films and concerts featuring bands such as the Phoenix Foundation, and touring with Pink Floyd Experience. She also toured with the Wellington Ukulele Orchestra for many years and is a partner at Western Audio Engineering, a concert sound system company.

Gil has been nominated for several Chapman Tripp theatre awards, and won best sound design award for The December Brother. She also mixed Tui award winning albums Trouble on the Waterfront by The Waterfront Collective, and Circus of Fleas by Fleabite.
