Craig Cooper began his career at The Court Theatre with the Scared Scriptless company and since then has worked in the arts sector for almost 20 years in both Australia and New Zealand in a variety of roles including as a performer, writer, director, education officer, cultural development officer and as a funding advisor with Creative New Zealand.
As a producer and programmer he worked at The Studio at Sydney Opera House, The Court Theatre and more recently he headed the Arts Development Programmes at Auckland’s The Edge Centre for Performing Arts (now Auckland Live) as Associate Director Arts Programmes and later as Programming Manager. He also led the establishment of Auckland Fringe in 2009.
In 2014 Craig was appointed to the role of Festival Director of Christchurch Arts Festival and so it's his and Ross’ fault that this show has come about. Sorry.
