Christy is a graduate of the New Zealand Film & Television Training School.

Her previous Court Theatre credits include: Epic Journey to the Shops; Snap!; Jungle Book; Little Red Riding Hood; Mary Poppins; Badjelly the Witch; Winston’s Birthday; Macbeth; Matthew, Mark, Luke and Joanne; The Dunstan Creek Seance; Educating Rita; Waiora; Cops & Robbers; The Little Mermaid; The Streaker; Puss in Boots; The Events; Legally Blonde the Musical; Jack & the Beanstalk; A Christmas Carol; Ropable; The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time; Uncle Vanya; Songs For Nobodies; Steel Magnolias; and, most recently, Venus in Fur.

Her other theatre credits include: Madam Butterfly (Opera NZ); Blood Brothers; Chicago; The New Rocky Horror Show; Chess; The Original Phantom of the Opera and Jekyll & Hyde (Stetson Productions); Secret Garden and Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Ascot Group).

Christy was the Set Designer & Stage Manager for the Medbury School production of Oliver….Twist and was Technical Stage Manager on the Selwyn House School production of Peter Pan.

Christy also trained as a nanny but gave it away to raise her own three kids with her husband Greg on their farm. She and her husband were Owner/Operators of the Famous Grouse Hotel for several years.
