cameron burnett

Cameron is a graduate of the Ara Music Arts programme (Bachelor of Music) and the Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand (Certificate in Audio Engineering and Music Production). 

His previous Court Theatre credits include That Bloody Woman (Drums) and Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Assistant Musical Director; Drums). His other theatre credits include Cabaret (MUSOC) and Grease (Ben McDonald Productions).

Cameron is a member of the New Zealand Army Band which has seen him perform in events such as the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo; The World Band Festival in Lucerne, Switzerland; WW1 Commemorations in Le Quesnoy, France; as well as many national tours. 

He has performed with internationally acclaimed artists including James Morrison; Allen Vizzutti and Ali McGregor; and has performed in support slots for bands such as Dragonforce.

Cameron is a metalhead at heart and is proud of his work with metal band Awakened Inferno, which includes LP Fire in the Hole and EP Tear it a New One. He is also a passionate drumming tutor with a thriving private studio in Swannanoa, North Canterbury.
