Björg is a graduate of Hagley Theatre Company (Diploma in Performing Arts) and Toi Whakaari (Bachelor of Performing Arts, Acting).
Her previous Court Theatre credits include Snap!; Serial Killers and The Lesson.
Her other theatre credits include The Venetian Bride; Laughing Wild (Bats Theatre); Linnaeus (Christchurch Botanical Garden) and Beneath Our Feet (The Clinic).

She speaks fluent Icelandic.
