Barry’s previous credits at The Court Theatre include: The Philadelphia Story; Blood Brothers (the 1990 production); The Crimson Lizard; Take A Chance On Me; Much Ado About Nothing; Groundswell; Amadeus; SNAP!Romeo and Juliet; and, most recently, as Ross in Macbeth.

Other theatre credits include: Hay Fever (Scriptease Productions); The Country Wife; Charley’s Aunt; Dead Funny; Market Forces; The Gambler; Neville’s Island and The Boys Next Door (Fortune Theatre).

Barry’s television credits include: Hope and Wire; Shortland Street and the mini-series Hillary, which will screen this year. His film credits include: 3 Mile Limit and the short film River. He is currently appearing in a television commercial for Bay Audiology.

In 2004 Barry took what was intended as a one-year sabbatical from acting and went to South Korea to teach English. One year turned into almost seven. These days, when not acting, he teaches English as a second language in Auckland but acting remains his first love. He is a proud member of Equity New Zealand.
