Arlo was introduced to the performance world as a seven-year-old with his first role in a contemporary dance film made by his mother.
When he was 18 he started acting professionally after getting his break in the Auckland Theatre Company’s Next Big Thing and A Midsummer Night’s Dream in 2012. He then graduated from the ATC’s Actors Programme in 2013.
Since graduating, Arlo has travelled to Edinburgh with Royal Production’s interactive theatre hit, Gen-Z, and picked up roles on two major South Pacific Picture productions among numerous theatrical productions such as King Lear with Michael Hurst and 7500 Days with Nisha Madhan.
He has also appeared on Shortland Street and Step Dave, and has just finished shooting a yet-to-be-announced project with Great Southern Television.
Arlo says he’s “incredibly stoked to be working with the beautiful team at The Court Theatre, and I’m glad to be back performing in Christchurch.”
