Amanda Hare web

Amanda joined the Court Theatre late 2021 following a year of working at Pātaka Art + Museum in Porirua where she was part of the Executive team as Visitor Experience Manager. Previous to this she worked as Assistant Director of an Art Gallery and studio in Melbourne, Australia.

Amanda is a graduate of Staffordshire University completing a Master’s Degree in Industrial Design Ceramics, then completing her Adults Teaching, Assessment and Verification qualifications with Open University and has focused recently on completing a Diploma in Small Business Development, Leadership and TESOL/TEFL teaching certification.

Amanda has always worked within the Arts sphere, either teaching, planning, coordinating, or managing. The one connection across all is the development of people. From roles as diverse as Head of Department in an art college to head tutor of a community-based rehabilitation centre – her passion has always been the progression and development of people.

Outside the Court Theatre doors, you’ll find Amanda on the water, either SUP board paddling or racing. A lover of the outdoors but equally enjoys a good movie with good wine and a tasty cheese.
