Creative New Zealand has published its briefing to the incoming Minister of the Arts, Rt Hon Jacinda Ardern.

The briefing includes attendances at ALL art forms in New Zealand for last year - which were 1.28m. This includes, but is not exclusive to, the 81 organisations that are funded through Creative New Zealand’s Arts Development Investment Programme.

Paid attendances at The Court in 2016 were 135,000 – which means The Court accounts for 10.5% of attendances across all art forms – galleries, museums, music, opera, dance and theatre.
