Nomi Cohen

Since graduating from the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art (NASDA) with a Bachelor of Performing Arts in 2012 and The Actors’ Program in 2013, Nomi has worked on numerous projects both on and off the stage.

Her previous Court Theatre credits include Much Ado About Nothing; Legally Blonde the Musical; Chicago; Jesus Christ Superstar and Jersey Boys. Her other theatre credits include Catch Me If You Can the Musical (Blackboard Theatre Collective), Lysistrata (Auckland Theatre Company) and Chess The Musical (G&T Productions).

Her film and television credits include Jono and Ben, Shortland Street and No Exit. 

Nomi has worked extensively in the cabaret scene and is also the creator and host of the live performance pub quiz What The Quiz Is This?

Nomi is a proud co-founder and co-director of Blackboard Theatre Collective and an active member of Equity NZ.
