Since graduating from the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art (NASDA) with a Bachelor of Performing Arts in 2012 and The Actors’ Program in 2013, Nomi has worked on numerous projects both on and off the stage.
Her previous Court Theatre credits include Serena in Legally Blonde the Musical and Roxie Hart in Chicago. Her other theatre credits include Brenda in Catch Me If You Can the Musical (Blackboard Theatre Collective) and Gorgo in Lysistrata (Auckland Theatre Company).
Nomi co-wrote and starred in Hungover, a musical comedy, which had a successful season at the Basement Theatre in Auckland; directed BRAVADO! for the Auckland Theatre Company as part of the 2016 Next Big Thing festival and her solo cabaret PUSS took home three awards in the 2016 Short+Sweet festival, returning in 2018 to sold-out houses as part of the International Comedy Festival.
Nomi is a proud co-founder and co-director of Blackboard Theatre Collective, a new theatre company based in Christchurch specialising in new musical theatre and hopes to continue to bring top quality musical theatre entertainment to New Zealand.
