John Liddiard (FCCA, CA, BBS) joined the Court in 2017 as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Services Director. Working in New Zealand, Europe, the UK and the US, John has extensive experience in financial, commercial and business management with roles in a range of sectors including broadcasting and publishing; insurance and oil; and not-for-profit enterprises. With a focus on business analysis, change and improvement John brings to the Court a substantive depth of technical and business expertise.
Returning to Christchurch after some time away, he believes that The Court Theatre is a taonga, not just of Christchurch, but of Aotearoa/New Zealand, that the future of the performing arts in the country is reflected in the future of this theatre and that world class business management processes are deserved by a theatre that demonstrates world class artistic mastery.
Alongside business John has a long interest and involvement in politics, church and travel with his family.
