9-13 January | Ages: 12-15 |
An intensive week for students already skilled in improvisation skills and Theatresports. An opportunity to upskill with tuition from Court Jesters.
Please note to be accepted onto this course students must already attend an improvisation class at The Court Theatre or be a member of a Theatresports team.
16-20 January | Ages: 8-12 |
An intensive week of exploring drama and performance skills. Working with a professional artists to produce a piece of theatre for friends and family at the end of the week. This holiday programme will use devising and story telling skills to create an original performance at the end of the week. This programme is ideally suited to children who would enjoy an intensive week or creative play and drama rehearsal.

Brendon is one of the Jesters’ most experienced tutors, teaching workshops on improvised theatre, team building, body language, and presentation skills.
Brendon has been improvising with the Court Jesters since 2002. On stage, he is known for his dry wit and storytelling flair. As an MC and director, he is known for innovative shows and formats.
Beth is a graduate of the Hagley Theatre Company (Certificate in Performing Arts).
Theatre credits include: Ex Tenebris Lux (directed by Two Productions for The Body Festival); Footprints On Water and There Is A War (Hagley Theatre Company) and Bad Jelly The Witch at The Court Theatre.
Beth’s film credits include the music video for Mel Parsons’ song Driving Man and the short film Daughter (The Film Co-op Inc. and Lonely Peak Productions Ltd).
Beth took part in The Actors’ Program in Auckland in 2016.
