Mike Ferrar

 Mike is a graduate of the Ara Institute of Canterbury (Bachelor of Musical Arts). 

His previous Court Theatre credits include Grease; Blood Brothers, Jesus Christ Superstar and Jersey Boys. His other theatre credits include Mamma Mia!; Hairspray; Evita; Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert and We Will Rock You (Showbiz Christchurch).

Mike has toured nationally and internationally with artists including Elaine Paige and Aled Jones, and is an active musician in the Christchurch scene, performing with his original guitar trio Toro! alongside many other projects.

He is the jazz guitar tutor for the jazz programme at Ara and also writes and produces music from his sailboat moored in Lyttelton Harbour.
